COLLABORATING WITH THE BEST

rnWhen we develop a product, quality and performance always come first. The same goes for shoes, and our users are the ones who know best what our products go through each day. We are always looking to collaborate with partners that truly understand what it takes to meet not only our requirements but those of our users. We are proud to be able to say that we collaborate with the best!rnrn— Anders carlsson, VD Blåkläder

BEST IN LAST

rnThe last is like a car chassis. Without stability, you won’t have a comfortable ride. The last is crucial for fit and for the shoe’s balance as a whole. This is a genuine craft that takes many years to master. Fagus is one of few companies that possess these skills and experience, and we have developed our own lasts with them.

A TOTAL OF 600 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

rnTo develop good shoes, we need to understand the biomechanics of the foot and what it takes to support the foot and the entire body through the whole shift. So we contacted Camp Pro, whose orthopaedic engineers together have more than 600 years’ expertise in orthopaedics, foot biomechanics and rehabilitation. Our collaboration with Camp Pro allowed us to check different ideas about lasts and inserts, which has given us in-depth knowledge that is key in product development.
