The story of our safety shoes began with a phone call from an orthopedist in Skåne to Blåkläder’s CEO, Anders Carlsson. This conversation led us to assemble a working group of technology, functionality, and ergonomics experts. The result is a collection of safety shoes that uphold the same high standards as our workwear, designed from the ground up to provide the best possible protection and comfort.

In our collection of safety shoes, you will find four different models: Retro, Cradle, Elite, Gecko, Storm, Sprinter, STRIKER and EPIC. Each model has its unique features and advantages.

Retro: The Retro safety shoe is a classic, stylish model with high comfort and safety. It features a steel toe cap, a steel puncture-resistant midsole, and a durable outsole.

Cradle: The Cradle safety shoe combines modern design with the highest comfort and safety. It has an aluminum toe cap, a composite puncture-resistant midsole, and a shock-absorbing midsole. It is also ESD-approved.

Elite: The Elite safety shoe is a premium model with a sporty design and superior comfort and safety. It has an aluminum toe cap, a composite puncture-resistant midsole, and an EVA midsole for added shock absorption. The shoe is ESD-approved and has a water-repellent upper.

Gecko: The Gecko safety shoe is an innovative and agile model with a flexible textile upper. It features an aluminum toe cap, composite puncture-resistant midsole, and a nitrile rubber outsole for outstanding grip and durability. The shoe is ESD-approved and has a water-repellent upper.

Storm: A powerhouse of performance, durability, and style. These protective boots are made from high-quality leather and specifically designed for Nordic weather conditions. They feature a waterproof membrane, Thinsulate lining, and a nitrile rubber friction sole for outstanding grip on snow and ice.

Sprinter: A lightweight, functional sneaker with a breathable textile upper, reinforced at the toe and heel for extra durability. Equipped with a composite toe cap and flexible textile PS puncture protection, it delivers both safety and comfort. The PU midsole ensures perfectly balanced shock absorption, while the TPU outsole provides reliable slip resistance.

STRIKER: A high-quality sneaker featuring an exclusive textile upper reinforced at the toe and heel. The side-mounted Freelock system makes it easy to tighten and slip the shoe on or off, while a newly developed neoprene tongue adds extra comfort. The shoe also boasts a NANO toe cap that is stronger, lighter, and thinner than other non-metallic materials.
