WHY IS SAFETY FOOTWEAR IMPORTANT?
PROTECTION FOR YOUR FEET – A MUST AT WORK
Safety footwear is an essential part of your work kit in environments where risks such as heavy objects, sharp items or slippery surfaces are part of the job.

LOOK AFTER YOUR FEET
Every day, all over the world, workers across many different trades face the same problem: safety footwear that is not ergonomic enough, causing injuries and long-term problems in the back and lower body. At Blåkläder, we want to help put a stop to that.
Every component in Blåkläder safety footwear is carefully developed and evaluated to meet the same high standards that we set for our premium workwear. With our own last, developed from the ground up, we have full control over the fit, feel and construction of our shoes.
We want our safety footwear to protect against more than sharp nails, rough surfaces and external impacts. It should also help reduce long-term strain and allow wearers to go all in, both at work and after the working day is done.
Together with the orthopaedic specialists at Camp Pro, we developed a footbed that provides foot stability, integrates with the shoe, and maintains dynamics with every step. The aim is to help prevent overuse injuries such as knee and hip problems, heel spurs, lower back pain and inflammation. In our view, this is just as important as protection against direct external impact.
Look after your feet. They help you work harder, longer and better.
WHEN SHOULD I WEAR SAFETY FOOTWEAR?

- Cold and wet environments: use lined and waterproof safety footwear.
WHAT MAKES GOOD SAFETY FOOTWEAR?
- Steel or composite toe cap: protects against falling objects.
- Antistatic soles: help reduce the risk of static discharge.
